No Limit Texas Holdem in Kathmandu on Tuesdays
Are you interested in Poker: No Limit Texas Hold em. I am looking for more people to join our regular game on Tuesdays. We have met once on Tuesday last (February 10th 2009) at a restaurant called Buzz opposite New Orleans in Jawalakhel. There were 7 players that we were able to get together. 2 of the players are Canadians expats under 30. Three other players are Non-resident Nepalis here on Holiday. The other 2 (me included are) are here permanently (the other guy owns the place).
If you are passing through (temporarily in Ktm you are most welcome to join in. Maybe you will get some answers from the existing members to questions you might have about Nepal and your travels).
The structure of the game:
We meet @ around 6pm. I could not find good quality chips so the ones we have right now aren’t the best. You are always welcome to bring good chips to the game. We will find a way to compensate you for the chips by arranging a rake. Usually the lights go off at around that time in that area but the place has inverters and the existing lights are ok for the game but not that bright.
They buy-in is NRS 1000 and you can cash out anytime. It is a No Limit cash game. There is currently no rake.
